1. Service Overview

The IVVER application is published by IVVER Team (hereinafter "the Publisher").

IVVER is a marketplace platform allowing:

  • Owners (individuals or professionals) to offer vehicles for rent.
  • Renters to search for and book these vehicles.

Eventually, the platform may offer other services such as accommodation and activities.

2. Access to Service

2.1 Eligibility

To use the service as a renter, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a valid driver's license authorized in Morocco.
  • Possess a valid payment method for the security deposit and/or payment.

2.2 User Account

Registration is mandatory. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

3. Rental Operations

3.1 Booking and Contract

IVVER acts as a technical intermediary. The rental contract is concluded directly between the Owner and the Renter upon vehicle handover. IVVER is not a party to the rental contract.

3.2 Identity Verification

The renter consents to provide their identity documents (License, National ID) via the application. These documents are transmitted to the Owner solely for the purposes of establishing the contract.

3.3 Cancellation

Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the scheduled rental start. Beyond this period, fees may apply according to the conditions defined during booking.

4. Responsibilities

4.1 Renter Responsibility

The Renter is fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. They agree to:

  • Use the vehicle responsibly and with due care ("en bon père de famille").
  • Respect traffic laws.
  • Return the vehicle in the same condition as received.

In case of damage, accident, or theft, the Renter is responsible unless force majeure or a proven pre-existing defect exists.

4.2 Owner Responsibility

The Owner agrees to provide a vehicle in good working order, consistent with the description, insured, and complying with all legal obligations (up-to-date technical inspection, valid registration).

4.3 Limitation of Liability

IVVER cannot be held liable for:

  • The condition of the rented vehicles.
  • The behavior of users (renters or owners).
  • Disputes occurring during the rental (damages, fines, etc.).

5. Payments and Deposits

payments are processed via strictly secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, CMI). IVVER does not store banking information directly. A security deposit may be blocked (swik) to cover potential damages.

6. Personal Data

IVVER collects and processes personal data in accordance with Law 09-08 (Morocco) and international standards (GDPR). For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Applicable Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Moroccan law.

In the event of a dispute between users, they are encouraged to find an amicable solution. Disputes relating to the rental are subject to the competent jurisdictions defined in the rental contract or, failing that, the courts of the defendant's domicile or the company's headquarters.
